Välkommen till Sverige!

The courses in civic orientation that the Civic Orientation Centre for the County of Stockholm arranges are divided into four parts. The first part of the course is called Welcome to Sweden. In this part, you will learn more about subjects like Swedish culture, geography and history. You will also learn more about the fundamental values on which Swedish society is based, as well as how government agencies and municipalities work where you live

Examples of questions that are addressed in this part of the course:

• How do the Swedish Migration Agency and other government agencies work?
• What are the fundamental values on which Swedish society is based?
• How does the healthcare and medical system work in Sweden?
