Swedish for professionals, Sfx
(Svenska för yrkesutbildade, Sfx)
Swedish for Vocational Education is a collaboration between the municipalities in Stockholm County with the aim of making use of new arrivals’ vocational skills. The training involves intensive Swedish studies with a focus on the professional language and courses to understand how the profession works in Sweden.
The goal is to shorten the time for the participants to get a job or start a business.
Swedish for professionals is available for the following professional areas:
• Swedish for economists, lawyers and social scientists, SFEJ (Stockholm)
• Swedish for engineers and architects SFINX (Stockholms)
• Swedish for medical personnel, SFM (Huddinge)
• Swedish for teachers, SFP (Stockholm)
• Swedish for programmers, Sfx-IT (Tyresö)
The Sfx courses bring together participants with similar professional backgrounds from all over Stockholm County.
