In the course in civic orientation, you will learn more information about, for example:

• how to look for work in Sweden
• professions with a high chance of getting a job
• equality in the labor market

On the Swedish public employment service’s (Arbetsförmedlingen) website there is information about what the labor market looks like in Sweden. On their website there are many searchable job vacancies. Find the available jobs in what is known as platsbanken at arbetsformedlingen.se.

If you become unemployed, meaning if you do not have a job, it is important that you register as a job seeker at Arbetsförmedling on your first day of unemployment.
