The Swedish National Pensioners’ Organisation (PRO) is Sweden’s largest pensioner organisation. Activities and travel are arranged for members throughout Sweden.

The Association of Retired Persons in Sweden (SPF) is a member organisation for everyone who has a right to retire, regardless of age. The local associations arrange various activities with a focus on public health and fitness.

Anyone who receives a pension can get different kinds of pensioner discounts for public transport or entrance to various events. You can usually present ID that shows that you are 65 or older. However, if pension is received before the age of 65, a certificate from the Swedish Pensions Agency is needed.
